We all know that it’s good to eat more fruit and vegetables and we should aim to have 5 a day.
There are lots of different vitamins and minerals in fruit and veg so one way to make sure you’re getting a good balanced range is to eat lots of different colours. From green peas and celery through to red peppers and tomatoes and even purple blueberries. Okay, so it’s not quite a rainbow as there’s no blue and indigo, but eating a good mix of colourful fruit and veg is a good start to getting lots of healthy benefits.
