Get Set for the Great Perthshire Tattie Run

This year the Tattie Run will take place on 14th August in North Inch Park

Preparations for this year's Great Perthshire Tattie Run were officially launched this week by Dennis Melley, Provost of Perth, with full support from Perth & Kinross Council a little extra help from the Branston team.

The Tattie Run will take place in the leafy green of North Inch Park this year. This will mean there is plenty of space for runners (carrying their tatties) and spectators at the event. After the cancellation of last year's event this year's Tattie Run is expected to be bigger and better than ever.

Branston is delighted to be picking up the sponsorship for The Great Perthshire Tattie Run again this year. It is a fantastic event which gives everyone a chance to compete in a unique challenge. Covering a distance of one mile and carrying a bag of tatties is not as easy as it sounds. In previous Tattie Runs there have been some very interesting techniques and an eclectic range of attire. It’s all part of the fun of the tattie run. Plus you get to take your tatties home.

The event is free and it's open to everyone - with a range of challenges suitable for all ages and abilities. It's not too late if you would like to sign up. Visit the Great Scottish Events website to find out more.
