Producer Groups
Committing to our customers
Branston has three formal Producer Groups, each based around one of our production sites. The growers in these groups, with their combined total of 16,000 acres, make a firm commitment to us and to our customers.
As a Producer Group member, they can select the level of service they want by choosing from a range of professional services. These include:
- Crop planning to maximise profitability and minimise risk
- Assessment of seed requirements, seed sales and advice
- General agronomic and crop protection advice
- Regular crop assessments to monitor health, yield and quality
- Analysis and interpretation of test dig results
- Detailed chemical and fertiliser recommendations
- Blight and aphid risk updates using local weather stations and ICM programmes
- Bruising and damage assessments at harvest
- Guidance on store management and regular store quality assessments
