Our customers quite rightly demand the highest standards from their suppliers. Likewise, at Branston our number one priority is sourcing potatoes of the highest quality and safety, giving our customers and consumers every confidence in our potato business.
Branston suppliers work to the acclaimed Tesco Nature’s Choice code of practice which sets environmental standards covering safety, quality and environmental responsibility.
These environmental standards sit alongside our own exacting specifications for high-quality produce and systems to ensure food safety and traceability throughout.
But it’s not just environmental standards that we have to meet nowadays. We are also commited to SEDEX, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, and we work with our growers to help them meet legislation concerning Gangmaster Licensing.
