The Epic Project
Responding to global warming
In October 2007, Branston made its largest-ever single donation of £50,000 to the Epic Project. This project is about creating a Lincolnshire centre of environmental innovation that will explore low carbon technologies and responses to global warming.
At the heart of the Project is the £7m Epic Centre (Environment, Production, Innovation and Contemplation), which will be a showcase for new environmental technologies that lessen the emission of greenhouse gases.
The new centre will replace the current exhibition hall and members’ facilities at the Lincolnshire Showground and will contain exhibition halls, offices and function rooms. Environmental responsibility lies at the heart of the project and will make the new development unique.
