Thirty members of staff working at Branston's Scotland site Branston are celebrating 635 years' cumulative service.

Branston acquired the site in Abernethy from WCF Potatoes in 2004 and it’s grown substantially since then. Over the last 10 years the site has enjoyed considerable investment in both equipment and people. There are now over 125 people employed at the site.

The thirty longest serving employees cover a variety of roles across the whole scope of the business, from production operatives, forklift drivers and machine operators, to production management, and distribution.

Also celebrating is General Manager, Eric Ritchie, who has clocked up 39 years.

Eric commented: “I am proud that so many of my colleagues are committed to the company and the industry. This is obvious every day and with such a wealth of experience and knowledge at the core of our team I am sure we will continue to grow successfully in the years ahead.”

Simon Telfer, HR Director, added: " Branston's greatest strength is the experience and passion of our people. It is great to be able to recognise our colleagues for the years of loyalty that have been the key to our success. With service ranging from 10 years to 39 years, this is a great achievement both for the individuals and the company."
