Following the annual Branston Shareholders’ meeting, (Tuesday January 27th 2015) the following structure changes were announced by company Chairman Guy McCracken.
- Graeme Beattie, Managing Director of Branston for 26 years, would be retiring as Managing Director on the 1st May 2015 and would be succeeded by James Truscott, currently Sales and Marketing Director. Graeme will be remaining on the Board in a non-executive capacity.
- John Ward, a Shareholder Director of Branston for 26 years, had retired from the Board at the Board meeting on the 27th January.
On the changes, McCracken stated:
"I wish to thank John for his long-standing commitment to the Branston business and the help and advice he has consistently provided over that period which was greatly appreciated.
Graeme has made an outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Branston throughout his time as Managing Director and I am delighted he is remaining on the Board so that we will continue to benefit from his skills and experience.
James Truscott has been an excellent Sales and Marketing Director and I look forward to working closely with him in his new role."

James Truscott will take up his position from 2nd May 2015.
