Malcolm Adam

Shift Manager, Scotland

Malcolm was still a schoolboy when he joined Branston as a weekend Packer. After leaving school he joined us full time, developing his expertise in operating and maintaining a wide range of packaging machinery. Malcolm was promoted to Production Supervisor in 2004 and became Shift Manager in July 2007. He’s been on several training courses and gained his Six Sigma Yellow Belt in July 2007.

Malcolm’s current role involves a combination of technical and people-management skills. He ensures the smooth and efficient operation of all the factory production lines in order to achieve targets and objectives set by the site Production Managers. He’s also responsible for the maintenance and development of all vertical form, fill and seal packing machinery within the factory.
