Specialist help is always at hand

Steve Crane, group seed manager, is responsible for overall management and development of Branston Seed, including contracted seed production and procurement from other sources. He works closely with Germicopa, as well as managing our relationships with a number of other European seed houses.

Peter Hewett, senior seed manager, manages our variety development programme. He is responsible for seed sales throughout the Producer Groups as well as looking after the Stet, Den Hartigh, Van Rijn and Cygnet relationships.

Tony Barnes, seed sales manager, handles seed sales in the south of Lincolnshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. He is also involved in horticultural sales and variety development trials.

Andy Leeson, seed sales manager, looks after seed customers in Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. He is also responsible for the day-to-day liaising with IPM and HZPC seed houses.

Andrew Mudie, seed trader, is based at our Scotland site. He is responsible for both procurement and seed sales to the trade as well as overseeing our dedicated Scottish seed production.

Steve Mathias, seed sales manager/agronomist, is based at our South West site, where he works with the Agronomy team and looks after seed customers in the South West, Midlands, Hereford and Wales.

Elaine Sheehan, commercial administrator, looks after the administration for the Seed team and liaises between customers, hauliers and suppliers to keep everything running smoothly.
