Meeting different standards
Half of all of the potatoes grown in the UK go into the processing industry. So it makes sense for us to put our expertise to good use in this growth area.
We understand that the specifications, varieties and growing methods required for processing are very different to fresh. So, working on contract and in partnership with processing companies, we pay great attention to a different set of standards - including dry matters, sugar balances, fry colour and cookability - to ensure the optimum product for processing.
We're growing some of our own crops especially for our processing customers as well as working with our supliers to meet the growing demand.
