Quite rightly, our customers demand the highest standards from us. In turn, we demand the same from our suppliers. Each of them works to the acclaimed Nurture and Assured Produce codes of practice for safety, quality and environmental responsibility. We’re also committed to SEDEX, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, so we work closely with our suppliers to make sure they meet current legislation.
Every part of our business undergoes the British Retail Consortium audit – the food standard that all packers are measured against. Each site is individually and continually audited by the premium certification body, the European Food Safety Inspection Service (EFSIS). As if those credentials weren’t enough, our own strict Environmental Management System is supported at every level of our business.
