A centre of excellence for new and salad potato production
Direct links to the West Country, south coast and Wales mean we can provide a year-round supply of some of the finest potatoes in the country. And because the site sits at the heart of the new potato growing area, when sales are at their highest, between May and September, production here goes into overdrive.
In the last three years we’ve invested £3 million in the site, and it’s now operating more efficiently and effectively than ever.
- Seven production lines, capable of handling 90,000 tonnes per year
- Two lines dedicated to salad potato packing featuring high speed end-of-line automation
- 11,120 tonnes of on-site coldstorage and a further 2,500 tonnes off site which we control and manage
- Four boreholes for a natural water supply at the the perfect temperature for washing potatoes
- Fully ISO 14001 accredited, in recognition of our extensive environmental management system
