In January 2005, we opened the Branston high care factory in Lincolnshire, with the aim of producing the highest quality prepared vegetables.
The factory is crucial to our success and is run by an experienced and dedicated team. Thanks to their commitment, advanced lean manufacturing techniques and our expertise in new product development, we’re producing stronger, simpler, better value products for our customers.
The prepared vegetable division is run from a purpose-built, high-care facility which currently boasts:
- 3 production lines and 20 staff handling 2,500 tonnes every year
- A mesmerising process that automatically fills and seals pouches with potatoes, butter and various dressings, all at industry-leading efficiency levels
- An innovative process that produces cook-from-fresh prepared potato products
- A strong track record of producing ‘free-from’ prepared vegetable products, with a commitment to eliminate unnecessary additives from our processes
- A firm focus on new product development that recently resulted in a unique range of barbecue products
